Mr. Cassel focuses his practice on business & corporate law and financial & estate planning. Accordingly, he is a member of the Commercial Practice Group and the Advanced Planning & Family Office Practice Group at Handler, Thayer & Duggan.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science Degree with a Minor in Business Administration and a concentration in Political Theory from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. He attained his Juris Doctorate Degree from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. At DePaul, Mr. Cassel was on the Dean’s List as well as a CALI award recipient in Constitutional Law.
Mr. Cassel is a member of the American, Illinois State and Chicago Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity Chicago Alumni Network.
