Ms. Czajkowska serves as a Tax Associate in the Advanced Planning & Family Office Practice Group at Handler, Thayer & Duggan. Her practice is focused primarily on tax compliance, IRS matters and tax planning.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting Degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Illinois, where she graduated with high honors. She earned her Juris Doctorate Degree at the Illinois Institute of Technology Kent College of Law, also in Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Czajkowska is currently pursuing certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
Ms. Czajkowska's experience includes tax accounting, in addition to twice serving as a judicial extern. She is also fluent in Polish.
In addition, she is a certified mediator who has conducted mediations at the Cook County Circuit Courts, and is trained in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution techniques. She has completed the rigorous Mediation Certification Program through the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago and is available to mediate disputes or negotiations between two or more parties in almost any area, including, but not limited to, disputes or negotiations between business partners, neighbors, civic organizations, religious organizations, landlords and tenants, and family members.
