Eric E. Kalnins, J.D., LL.M.

Mr. Kalnins practices primarily in the areas of transactional corporate law, taxation and estate planning. He is also experienced in commercial and tax litigation and tax controversy work and has experience in both State and Federal Courts. Mr. Kalnin's broadly-based experience in each of the aforementioned practice areas has enabled him to proactively identify and capitalize on business and personal planning opportunities for the benefit of firm clients.

Mr. Kalnins earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois and a Juris Doctorate Degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. Mr. Kalnins then obtained his advanced law degree (LL.M. in Taxation) from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois.

Mr. Kalnins is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, as well as the general bar for the Northern Federal District Court of Illinois. He is also a member of the U.S. Tax Court and a member of the American Welfare Benefit Plan Association.
